Welcome to our Pre-School
Cuckoo Meadow Pre-School offers a warm, friendly and stimulating environment for children aged 2 yrs 9 months up to rising 5 year olds.
We are enviably situated in the centre of North Waltham village with access to safe outdoor play areas. We are lucky enough to have access to two hard standing areas, which we can use during the Winter months for outdoor play. We also, have the use of the village park and playing fields in the warmer Summer months. Our fantastic staff are a team of well-qualified and dedicated professionals with a wealth of early years education experience.

Lunch Club
We run a lunch club every day between 12.00pm - 12.30pm. The children bring their packed lunches with them. It is an opportunity for the children to socialise with their friends whilst having their lunch. The children love attending lunch club and it is great preparation for those starting school in September.
PRE-SCHOOL NEWS
So the start of 2012 has been a lovely time for all the children. They celebrated the Chinese New Year in style and made some brilliant puppet dragons, and then the snow came just in time for half term.
As the weather is very changeable at the moment, please ensure your children have appropriately named clothing as we play outside each day.

Fun Toddle:
Friday 1st June, 12pm
The children's annual Fun Toddle will be themed around the Queen's Diamon Jubilee. The kids will spend the week making decorations and crowns, then toddle around the field dressed as Kings and Queens! The toddle will be followed by a barbeque for both the adults and children. There will also be face painting, raffles and stalls.
End of Term Party:
Friday 20th July (no afternoon session).
Letter of the Week:
During the summer term we will be doing two letters per week - for the current letters, please see the letter of the week page.
The pre-school operates an open door policy so if you have any queries please do not hesitate to ask a member of staff.
Comments Book
For parents that don’t know we have a comments book hanging on the notice board outside and we would welcome any comments you may have relating to pre-school. It may be that your child has particularly enjoyed an activity, or really liked the snack that was offered at a session, we would appreciate any feedback you can give us!
Holiday Bear
If you are planning a holiday in term time we would be grateful if you could give us plenty of notice. We have a holiday bear in pre-school who is very well travelled and is in need of a holiday, so please ask if he is available for you to take with you the children love to take him away and he really is little bother.
Parent Rota
Please don't forget if you can help out, please sign up on the parent rota that can be found on the door in Pre-school. The children absolutely love it when mums, dads and grandparents come and help out.
